Workshop description |
Games are a powerful way to increase intrinsic motivation, and provide a fun and social learning environment for students. Students can often feel intimidated to use their foreign language in class. When students are focussed on game play, students move from the panic zone to the stretch zone – optimal conditions for learning. Participants will explore a range of digital and ‘analogue’ games. Learn how to make one resource stretch into many varied games to practise listening, speaking reading and writing skills in a non threatening and inclusive atmosphere. |
